Letter-to-the-Editor

Many of the most driven people I know are moms on a mission. There’s a nurse practitioner who was not happy with how her daughter was being taught. Next thing she knew she was actively advocating to raise educational standards for students across Wisconsin. That led to her running for an open seat in the Wisconsin State Assembly, followed by being elected to the Wisconsin State Senate and currently serving as its Assistant Majority Leader. She's even taken on the majority leader when she felt it was the right thing to do.

Leah Vukmir is now running for the United States Senate not only for her family but for all of Wisconsin. She’s traveling all over this state meeting people from all walks of life who feel Senator Tammy Baldwin has little-to-no accomplishments and isn’t fighting for us back home. We can't forget the issue where the Tomah veteran was swept under the rug.

The U.S. Senate needs someone who speaks for us, someone who will bring the Wisconsin Way of working hard and never giving up to Washington D.C. That someone is Leah Vukmir, and I am proud to support her in the race for U.S. Senate. I encourage you to vote for Leah in the August primary election followed by the November general election.
