Steve:

Two articles attached. If you can't publish two, then the article on section 230, while not my usual type of article, is very essential to address Big Tech's takedown of Parler and conservative voices. It talks about the Supreme Court precedent (in the 40s - 50s) that held Congress cannot empower private companies to regulate other private companies. That is exactly what Big Tech did. Using the congressional exemption from liability for removing objectionable content, Big Tech shut down conservative voices. Hopefully, it can be fit in.

My February article is also attached. It is on Texas v. PA, a case that is a disgrace. How the Sup Ct could dismiss Texas for lack of standing is reprehensible. States always have standing as protectors of citizens; that has been the position of the Supreme Court until now. By ruling on standing, the court indicates some states (liberal states that violate the constitution) have more standing in the union than conservative states, e.g. Texas, that follow the rules.

It will be some dark times ahead. Your magazine will be really essential going forward,

In DC, it is a total shutdown and 7000 Nat Guards remain protecting the Capitol. 7000 is more troops than we have in Afgan & Iraq. Corporations have abandoned all conservative organizations and are withdrawing from membership. My old organization, the U.S. Chamber, now supports the re-entry of the Paris Accord and eliminating carbon from society. It supports most of the Green New Deal. Publishers will not publish conservative ideas. You may be one of the last remaining bulwarks. Your paper is more important than ever,

Best, Bill
