File Challenges to Dismiss
Submitted Petitions

State Senators Fitzgerald, Wangaard and Moulton all filed challenges to dismiss the recall petitions filed against them on February 9th.

Reality News reviewed the submitted challenge of Racine Senator Van Wangaard, plucking these juicy plumbs from his work up:

• 2404 signatures dated prior to notification being filed by recall organizer

-- 27 individuals that do not reside at the respective addresses given

• 12935 signers reside OUTSIDE OF

THE 21st SENATE DISTRICT

-- 79 signers not of voting age

-- 632 signatures appear to be in the same Handwriting

-- 1733 signatures improperly

certified by circulator

-- 913 signatures not properly dated

-- 137 signed two or more times

-- 1217 signatories cannot be

determined by address and/or

municipality provided

And there are still more.

State Sen. Terry Moulton from Chippewa Falls is challenging about 12,000 recall petition signatures against him, enough to potentially stop a recall election.
