I read in the Business Section Wisconsin was rated #1 for new manufacturing jobs. Tie in seven straight months of unemployment under 3% along with more people in the state workforce than ever before and it looks like Wisconsin truly is “Open for Business”. Guess what? Tony Evers and his running mate Mandela Barnes had nothing to do with this success. But I know who did. Governor Scott Walker and Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch have been working hard on our behalf.

There are so many more good things to come our way.

We all know nurses are known for helping people. I know a nurse who had a calling to help people another way besides in a hospital. Leah Vukmir jumped into the political arena and has been helping people with state issues and I know she will do the same with national issues as our junior senator. Our current senator Tammy Baldwin has been mostly invisible the past 6 years but alas, it is election time and poof, she shows up.

This country has seen an opioid abuse problem nationwide. Thankfully we have an Attorney General who has been at the forefront tackling this issue. Brad Schimel has been endorsed by Republican AND Democratic Sheriff’s all over our state. Schimel has prosecuted criminals as Waukesha County District Attorney and now the state AG. His opponent Josh Kaul has never prosecuted anyone in Wisconsin. It was once said in a past political campaign, “No sense changing horses in the middle of the stream”.

Waukesha County is almost split in half with two congressional districts. Jim Sensenbrenner is the “dean” of the Wisconsin delegation and represents the 5th District to our liking still.

Worthy candidate Bryan Steil is on the Wisconsin University Board of Regents and is a lawyer in the manufacturing industry. His opponent in the 1st District is Randy Bryce. He is a lawbreaker (9 arrests for myriad offenses) who thinks he can be a lawmaker. As Al used to say to his boss on the TV show Home Improvement, “I don’t think so Tim”.

The success these six Republicans has brought us deserves reward. Their reward should come on November 6th. It’s time to preserve the successes that have come our way. The national economy as well as Wisconsin’s are doing remarkably well while they are in Republican control. We cannot afford to go backward, we must continue to move FORWARD. It’s important to get our family, friends and neighbors out to vote. If you can’t make it to the polls on that day get an absentee ballot. We will be rewarded for years to come after they win.
